Sales Manager in Training

Blinds To Go

This is a Contract position in Newmarket, ON posted May 10, 2021.

He/she will be quickly developed to manage a high-volume showroom in the market and gradually grow into a market leadership role.

SMT will learn our culture and business practices working alongside a development manager while being mentored by one of our senior managers.

This position will fast-track through several management training roles in the first year and then be assigned to a flagship showroom in the market.

He/she will be mentored to gradually grow into a leadership role and to help grow the market.

The ideal candidate needs multi-year consultative sales and management experience and the drive and maturity to advance into a market leadership role.

Training will be tailored to best set-up the SMT for long-term success within Blinds To Go.

QUALIFICATIONS: College/university degree – Preferred 5 years consultative sales and experience in similar or related retail business (furniture, lighting, flooring, shoes, cellular, etc.) 2 years supervisory or management experience Outgoing, engaging personality Strong oral communication skills Passion for people and people development Excellent oral communication skills Strong work ethic and high personal drive Natural leadership skills
