Senior Project Manager with ETRM (Energy Trading and Risk Management) Project Experience

This is a Contract position in Belleville, ON posted June 17, 2021.

Our Calgary client is looking for a Senior Project Manager with ETRM (Energy Trading and Risk Management) Project Experience Skills and Experience:
• Must have 7 years of project management in mid to large organizations.

• Experience on Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) projects required.

• Knowledge of Organization Change Management is desirable.

• Knowledge of Openlink Endur preferred.

• Must have a good understanding of North American commodity trading (Knowledge of Producer Services is preferred for business analyst role).

• Demonstrated working business knowledge of Commodity Marketing and/or Risk Management industry concepts: Profit & Loss, WACOG (Weighted Average Cost of Goods), MtM (Marked-to-Market), Delta, VaR (Value at Risk), Market Pricing, etc.

Description
• Provide overall monitoring of the projects to ensure scope and budget remain on track.

Ensure projects are being accomplished efficiently and effectively and escalate issues to MRM Program Manager as needed.

• Work with the business and vendors to provide business analysis support including documenting requirements and supporting testing.

• Review team deliverables to ensure completeness and alignment with scope requirements.

• Provide industry knowledge support and guidance to project team members.

• Responsible for all status reporting and other PMO reporting requirements.

• Participate and provide input to Stage Gate Reviews.

• Support MRM Program Governance by assisting MRM Program Manager with the implementation of project decisions made by MRM Operating and Steering Committees
