Join us to find out how you can be a part of it all! The Opportunity: The Site Superintendent is responsible to manage the full construction operation of assigned communities.

Emphasis on achieving the highest level of homeowner satisfaction while demonstrating and upholding all of Mintos core values.

Accountabilities also include delivering on schedule and on budget while maintaining health and safety objectives. What youll be responsible for day to day: Facilitate opportunities to assist our home owners in order to provide an exceptional homeowner experience; Ensure staff present themselves in a professional and customer focused manner in all interactions with homeowners and attend as required; Coordinate with MasterCare to ensure quality production of home construction and ensure customer expectations are met; Responsible for upholding a high quality look, appearance, presentation of the overall community; Accountable for managing the complete house construction process of assigned communities from start through to Homeowner possession.

Ensure trades and staff adhere to Minto construction processes in accordance with Minto policies and procedures; Liaise with Health and Safety Representatives to ensure that all sub trades and buildings meet and adhere to the Ontario Health and Safety Codes and Minto Health and Safety policies; Review construction schedule with site teams and collaborate with Minto personnel to ensure timely construction completions per the business requirements; Communication and coordination with other departments to ensure timely delivery of permits, customer work orders and customer changes to ensure a seamless construction process; Ensure all reports, records, timesheets and relevant documentation are submitted on time; Accountable for achieving annual targeted starts and closings as laid out in the annual MCC business plan; Maintain overall relationship with trades and external stakeholders.

Establish high standards and accountabilities, and ensure their performance is consistent with Mintos Values; Responsible to ensure their Construction Teams achieve or exceed annual Customer Satisfaction targets as set out in MCC Business Plan; Ensure after hours and weekend security is in place for construction site; Routinely conducts work inspections to ensure standards are met; Continuously pursue cost effective alternatives to reduce cost and time and improve financial performance in all areas; Accountable for the maintenance of construction site budgets for the area, stage, and unit/lot, as well as G&A budgets for the community.

Responsible for setting objectives, performance evaluation, and compensation planning of their staff; Develop, mentor and manage a high performance, highly engaged team through effective talent recruitment, coaching, and development; Responsible for ensuring staff is informed and connected with Minto communications, business activities, etc.; Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management. Who were looking for: Education: A College Diploma is required (i.e.

architectural, civil engineering or construction management). Experience: Minimum five to seven (5-7) years in the construction industry with two to three (2-3) years of experience as a foreman. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Computer experience is an asset including knowledge of MS Office SuiteKnowledge of SAP and assetStrong Interpersonal and Communication skills (listening, verbal and written)Excellent customer service skillsExcellent leadership and skills including the ability to mentor and develop othersConflict resolution skillsAttention to detailSkills in relationship building with established broad network of contacts including staff, trade partners, inspectors and suppliersOrganizational and time management skillsExtensive knowledge of Ontario Building Codes, Energy Star guidelines and Health & Safety Regulations Minto is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible environment.
