Training and Development Manager

Position Type: Permanent Status: Full-Time Date Posted: August 26, 2021 Posting closing date: September 7, 2021 Location: 1155 North Service Road, West, Unit 9, Oakville Ontario Overview Headquartered in Oakville, Ontario, CSN Collision Centres “CSN” was founded in 2002 by a group of four successful collision repair owners to assist independent collision repair facilities to improve their operations through performance assessments, ongoing training, and marketing initiatives.

Today, CSN Collision Centres is the market leading collision repair network in Canada with more than 200 locations across the country providing safe high-quality collision and auto body repairs to get Canadians back on the road with confidence. The Manager, Training and Development is responsible for execution of the strategic direction of the CSN Training and Development tools offerings which include training, best practice learn/share/engagement opportunities.

The successful incumbent works closely with CSN Departmental Leaders and CSN Field Operations Team (FOT), to assess needs, establish direction, deliver CSN offerings that increases our network and our corporate office overall performance.

What you will do in this role: (Primary Objectives)
• Responsible for the overall execution, of licensee and corporate staff training and development initiatives
• Implements training programs based on CSN business needs and based on industry leading best practices
• Conduct needs assessments and creates plans with appropriate delivery method
• Maintain knowledge of various training delivery processes including e-learning, remote learning, train the trainer, web-based learning, etc.

• Manages and plans budgets and assesses return on investment for each training program
• Leading and coaching of their team to foster open communication and transparency and ensure there is a full understanding of the CSN Corporate objectives What we are looking for from you: (Qualifications)
• Strong Knowledge in creating training and development programs in a variety of modalities
– virtual, in-person, self-directed etc.
– for a best-in-class learning experience that offers a blended learning approach
• Strong ability to create an effective and inclusive training and development environment for all learners
• Data analytics proficiency coupled with strong analytical ability and attention to detail, using logical and organized thinking and clear communication skills
• Ability to quickly learn customer specific technical applications to train end users
• You have 5 to 8 years of leadership experience, and an understanding or equivalent experience in how a Collision Operation functions Who You Are:

• A track record as a leader with strong negotiating and influential skills
• Enthusiastic approach to working in Microsoft Office Applications (specifically, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and learning new technology tools and industry best practices.
