Then we have an opportunity for you We are searching for a Vice President, Commercial Sales & Marketing to join our team located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

Your Role: As a Vice President, Commercial Sales & Marketing you will be tasked with developing, adapting and executing sales and marketing strategies consistent with corporate goals and objectives; lead and motivate the Canadian subsidiary in driving sales of the existing customer base, launching new products, penetrating new channels, managing the development of long-term strategic plans and growth initiatives by identifying potential new business/category opportunities.

He/she will oversee sales and marketing leadership, by ensuring the Canadian Sales team optimizes relationship management efforts for retail customers, distributors and brokers in Canada, while maintaining accountability for annual operating plan.

He/she will also ensure consumer driven marketing plans effectively support the execution of existing and new portfolio in market.

Development, management and coordination of commercial activities in Canada in Key Retail channels.

Develop and own annual operating plan (AOP): sales, spending and EBITDA.

Lead and assist the sales organization in the achievement of short, mid and long-term company objectives.

Prepare strategic plans and contingencies for Senior Leadership Team review and approval to guide long-term business planning/development.

Research and drive business expansion/collaboration opportunities for existing and new categories.

Provide leadership and direction to subordinates to ensure proper execution of strategies and tactics leading to the achievement of sales and profitability objectives.

Support the Canadian Sales team by participating in senior retailer collaboration to capture revenue opportunities, ensure continuity of business, and brand development initiatives.

Travel to key markets as needed to build/maintain relationships with key customers/business partners, ensure strategies are executed upon by field staff and monitor competitive landscape.

15 years progressive experience in the CPG Canada industry, including food/household products, grocery and mass/club channels experience.

Prior team management experience combined with a proven track record of developing, coaching and mentoring a diverse staff.

Icing on the cake: MBA or other advanced degree, preferred.

Strong leadership, sales and organizational skills.

Ability to develop relationships and possess a successful track record of sales goals.

Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.

Demonstrated entrepreneurial skills, self-motivated.
